6 Key Strategies to Change Your Life

The following is a summary of a video Real Estate Coach Kevin Ward made to start off his “100 Day Countdown” he had in 2012 in which he challanged his followers to 100 day plan of action to change their life in the remaining hundred days of 2012.

The question you must ask yourself is, “How are you liking your life right now? Do you have the lifestyle you want, the relationships, the finances?” If not, you must create a MAP or Massive Action Plan to change it. You cannot solve your lifes problems with the same level of thinking that created them. There are 6 key strategies he discusses to change your life: 1) Get Clear, 2) Get Committed, 3) Get Liberated, 4) Get Started, 5) Get Supported, and 6) Get Hooked on Winning!

Strategy #1: Get a Clear Vision of What You Want
Picture your life in 5, 10, and 15 years from now. What is your vision? What do you want in your life? What things would you like to have? What places would you like to go? What things would you like to do? How much money would you like to make? Do you want to be financially independent? Do you want to have a passive income from investments? Where will you be living?

Strategy #2: Get Committed to Doing the Things Necessary to Make Your Goals Happen
What key activities are you absolutely committed to doing to change your life. What are some daily habits you need to create? Write down 7-12 daily habits you need to do everyday. Start with 1-3 new habits for the next 30 days, in 30 days add a couple more, then repeat that 30 days later. By creating new habits you exercise your habit muscle which exercises your discipline.

Strategy #3: Get Liberated from the Things that are Holding You Back
What do you need to get rid of? Bad habits, activities, toxic relationships, etc. Are you spending too much time being unporductive? Get rid of the habit of procrastination. What are time wasters? What are energy stealers? Get rid of the destructive negative thoughts entertain only thoughts about what you want and 100% exclude thoughts about what you don’t want. Replace negative thoughts with positive powerful thoughts and affirmations. Here are some positive affirmations:
I am comfortable and confident in every situation.
People say yes to me.
I am infinetly powerful.
I am totally confident.
I get the yes everytime.
I always get the appointment.
It is impossible to think two thoughts at the same time, so keep your mind focused on the positive ones.

Strategy #4: Get Started Now
Success loves speed. When you start fast you create momentum. The sooner you get started the further along you get. The most important thing to do is to start your key activities everyday on time. When you wake up, wake up fast motion creates emotion and emotion creates power. When you start your day quickly you create speed and speed created momentum, momentum creates power, and power leads to success.

Strategy #5: Get Supported
Build a support team of people around you to help with strategies and accountability.

Strategy #6: Get Hooked on Winning!
Write everyday in a journal your victories. Make a list of a minimum of 5 victories per day, 20 would be better. They maybe as simple as “I worked out today.” Winning creates more winning.
